breakdown

My contribution for this clip was as Animation Director, Animation Supervisor, Cg Supervisor and as a Animator.

TimeLine- 0:00-1:30- Stillwater. The sets were planned in a way so that it ca be reused and also could be extended as the episodes progressed. Xgen was used for the characters hair and were driven by nHair. Developed a inhouse  tool so that the hair movement can be an automized process in the animation stage. The environment/ Foliage were built using redshiftproxies, which included several types of trees and bushes.

TimeLine- 1:31-1:51- Star Wars Resistance. We received the assets from the client. The production work started from layout. We used mental ray with the studios proprietary toon shader for this project.

TimeLine- 1:52-2:25- Star Wars Resistance. Creating video reference for acting choices along with the animators. Scouting references to understand the weight and path the ships use while flying.

TimeLine- 2:26-2:58- Lost in OZ- My involvement in this project was from pre production to compositing stage. This set in particular was a bit tricky since it had a lot of crystal ornaments added to it.  We used animated redshift proxies for the crowd characters.

TimeLine- 2:59-4:20- My responsibilities were to animate all the shots after receiving the kickoff from the animation director. Creating acting references and sharing blocking pass for a systematic feedback.
